Charity Work
At Team Anstey we like to give back to the community and raise money for charity.
We raise money by having a tombola at the annual Anstey Gala, cake and refreshment sales and a ‘race bet’ at each league race
and by the occasional football card and a Team Anstey hot pod yoga session.
So far we have raised:
£500 for Soar Valley foodbank
£350 for the Stroke Association
£350 for Mind
£100 for Children in Need
£100 sponsorship for Martin High School Sports Award
£80 for Beacon Hill Country Park Parkrun
This years chosen charity is Cancer Research.

Great North Run 2024
After the success of entering one of our members into last years Great North Run to raise money for the Stroke Association in memory of our former team mate, Graham Smith, who suddenly and sadly passed away in 2022, it was decided that we would like to enter one of our members into this years Great North Run.
After a club vote to choose the charity, this years task is to raise £350 for Mind. Our job, as a club, is to hit this target which I know we can smash! We will be planning different things over the coming months for you to get involved with. Well done to Michelle Kershaw who won the Team Anstey 2024 Great North Run place.
